The 2026 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards have recognised some of the standout performers across English football, with players from the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, Women’s Super League (WSL) and WSL 2 honoured at the ceremony.
A total of 74 awards are being presented during the event, while former England international Karen Carney and Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish are also set to receive PFA Merit Awards.
The ceremony will conclude with the announcement of the Men’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year, with Bruno Fernandes, David Raya, Declan Rice, Erling Haaland, Gabriel Magalhaes and Rayan Cherki shortlisted for the prestigious award following their performances during the 2025/26 season.
Here is the list of winners announced so far.
Men’s PFA Young Player of the Year
Winner: Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City)
O’Reilly claimed the award ahead of Manchester City teammate Rayan Cherki, Arsenal youngster Max Dowman, Junior Kroupi of Bournemouth, Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo and Liverpool’s Rio Ngumoha.
Women’s PFA Young Player of the Year
Winner: Olivia Smith (Arsenal)
Smith retained the award for a second consecutive year, finishing ahead of Laura Blindkilde Brown, Veerle Buurman, Freya Godfrey, Tōko Koga and Alyssa Thompson.
League Two PFA Players’ Player of the Year
Winner: Aaron Drinan (Swindon Town)
Drinan won the award ahead of Sammy Braybrooke, Michael Cheek, Callum Paterson, Mitch Pinnock and Omar Sowunmi.
League Two PFA Team of the Year
Goalkeeper: Mathew Hudson (Oldham Athletic)

Championship PFA Players’ Player of the Year
Winner: Hayden Hackney (Middlesbrough)
Hackney won the Championship’s top individual prize ahead of Matt Grimes, Jack Rudoni, Carl Rushworth, Žan Vipotnik and Haji Wright.

The Men’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year remains the major award yet to be announced, with six players shortlisted for the honour: Bruno Fernandes, David Raya, Declan Rice, Erling Haaland, Gabriel Magalhaes and Rayan Cherki.
Karen Carney and Kenny Dalglish will also be honoured with PFA Merit Awards for their contributions to English football.
